The ultimate honeymoon destination. The third & final island of our holiday and what an absolute dream! Bora Bora, the most picture perfect island where overwater bungalows sprawl the pristine blue lagoon with views towards the iconic Mount Otemanu where you can relax until your hearts content. But don’t confuse relaxing with boring. From jet ski tours around the turquoise lagoon, parasailing, snorkelling with sharks and even skydiving, there’s still plenty of activities to be able to enjoy both. It was starting to sound more adventurous than Moorea and in my opinion, Bora Bora is the ultimate Tahitian destination.
Like many will tell you, Bora Bora really is the most beautiful & picturesque place you may ever set your eyes on. Even though photos don’t do it justice, I think the below photos will do majority of the talking in this travel blog.

☼ The Intercontinental Resort & Thalasso Spa, Bora Bora ☼
Greeted by the blow of the conch shell, we arrived at the beautiful Intercontinental Resort & Thalasso Spa by boat transfer and we were instantly living our best life. With golf buggy transfers from the jetty, we set on a mini tour of the resort before heading out along the boardwalk to our overwater bungalow – Ultimate luxury! The resort is an oasis in itself. The surrounding turquoise waters lapped the shore where palm trees and hammocks swayed. What paradise! From private sunset dinners, stingray feeding, island nights, a glass floor chapel which can be used as a wedding venue, in-house restaurants, bars and pools, there really is all you could need right in the comfort of the resort.

There’s no doubt that Bora Bora is in our top 5 favourite destinations. Whilst we were super lucky with the amazing weather we had, staying at the Intercontinental Resorts was really a great option and made our stay even more amazing. We went all out for our honeymoon but it really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
