Arriving before sunrise, we met at the departure point for todays adventure – a hot air balloon ride over the beautiful vineyards of the Hunter Valley. The morning was still yet filled with excitement as the flame blew up each balloon and we boarded the basket. As we ascended into the air, the heat kept us warm in the fresh winters air. Kangaroo’s were jumping in the grapevines below as the sun rose over the paddocks and the sound of the flame was all that could be heard apart from silence. A champagne breakfast was enjoyed at Peterson’s Champagne House and was the perfect ending to a beautiful morning.
