The scenery beyond the window on our short train journey from Interlaken to Lucerne was enjoyed as we continually spoke about how we just skydived in Switzerland! We explored the streets of beautiful Lucerne, walking along the Reuss river and Kapellbrucke wooden footbridge that crosses it.

We bumped into Rhiannon and after exploring more of Lucerne including the Lion Monument & the shopping streets we decided to go to Starbucks for a coffee and relax. Rhiannon mentioned she wanted to try Paragliding & next thing we know we are in a van being transferred to our Paragliding site!
We booked our experience with SkyGlide Paragliding Lake Lucerne at a local travel information desk. Our guide Dani picked us up, along with another two passengers & we were on our way! The wind had changed so we were unable to paraglide over Lake Lucerne itself but a different valley that welcomed us with beautiful mountains & waterfalls! Tandem paragliding was amazing, as Dani strapped me into the seat along with him. We started running fast towards the edge of the mountain, the cliffs edge awaiting our presence. ‘As fast as you can, otherwise we won’t make it off’ Dani yelled and soon enough we lifted off and we were gliding through the air – amazing!! I really recommend booking your experience with Dani if you are in Switzerland.
